BEHIND THE BRAND

Fire and Bliss was born from the friendship and fire of Ale Manning and Ola Lirka- senior yoga teachers, sound healers, and spiritual mischief-makers.
What started as a way to support your practice has grown into a full-blown sanctuary: soulful retreats, powerful classes, beautiful things to wear and carry - and now, our own studio space in Devon.
Rooted in tradition, wild at heart, and here to help you rise.
Retreats

Our retreats are a potent blend of yoga, sound and wildly beautiful settings. Think soul-stirring landscapes, nourishing food, deep rest and a bit of mischief around the edges. You’ll be guided by both Ale and Ola – two experienced teachers offering a rich mix of practices, from steady flows to sweet stillness. Some evenings end with a sound bath to soften the edges and settle you into bliss.
You’ll be held, seen, supported and stretched in all the right ways.
Clothing and Accessories

Our clothing and accessories were born from a love of practice and a refusal to settle. Every piece is designed to move with you - on the mat, in the wild, or wherever your day takes you. We use premium materials, timeless cuts and just the right amount of attitude. No fluff, no fast fashion. Just beautifully made gear that supports your practice and lasts the distance.
Ale Manning
Co-Founder
Ale found yoga over 15 years ago while navigating the chaos of a high-pressure corporate career. What began as a way to stay sane quickly turned into a lifelong love affair. Along the way, she’s explored everything from Acro to Aerial, Yin to Ashtanga, but it was Vinyasa that stole her heart and never gave it back.
Ale completed her initial 200-hour training in Vinyasa, then went on to deepen her practice through advanced trainings across the globe, including a 300-hour inversion-focused Ashtanga Vinyasa course with Jayaprada Radhika, Daniel Rama and Shakti Bird, and a second 300-hour Vinyasa training with the Radiantly Alive crew in Bali. She’s also trained in Yin with Elisha Young and Fraser Guthrie in Sydney.
After many years teaching in Oxfordshire, Ale recently relocated to Devon to embrace more space, family time, and wild coastline.
Her classes range from fire-building flows to deeply grounding slow practices. Expect modern Yogic philosophy woven into each class, along with creative sequencing, embodied movement and playlists that make your soul want to move.
Ale is a certified member of Yoga Alliance US (500ERYT), Yoga Alliance Professionals UK (ERYT) and the Register of Exercise Professionals.

Ola Lirka
Co-Founder
Ola first met yoga while studying Management and Marketing in Poland, but it wasn’t love at first sight. That came years later, after moving to the UK in 2010 to pursue a career in a major coffee corporation. The corporate grind took its toll, and she found herself searching for something to soothe the chaos and bring her back to centre. She started practising yoga in her living room, guided by YouTube and pure determination.
From there, the spark caught fire.
Ola’s practice has explored many paths - Vinyasa, Jivamukti, Ashtanga, Forrest, Aerial and beyond – and she’s trained with brilliant teachers including Ana Forrest, Alessandro Gozzi, Carson Calhoun and Don Conreaux. She brings a deep reverence for movement, energy and anatomy to every class.
Ola’s teaching is both thoughtful and intuitive. Expect creative sequencing, elegant transitions and the occasional “aha” moment when she breaks down something you thought you couldn’t do. Her style is about discovering new layers - no two practices ever feel the same.
Off the mat, Ola is a maker and a dreamer. You’ll find her weaving dreamcatchers, wandering the wilds, or rearranging furniture for the hundredth time.
